Repositori LIPI berfungsi untuk menghimpun output intelektual peneliti salah satunya adalah karya ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh institusinya. Adapun permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengguna dapat mengakses karya ilmiah yang lebih efisien dan bagaimana kontributor dapat mengunggah karya ilmiahnya secara mandiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan aplikasi Repositori karya ilmiah LIPI berbasis mobile untuk membantu pengguna lebih mudah mengakses karya ilmiah yang telah diunggah oleh kontributor di LIPI. Metode dan teknologi yang digunakan adalah aspek-aspek user experience (UX) dan perangkat lunak APP Inventor. Hasil dari penelitian ini telah berhasil membuat tampilan antarmuka aplikasi maka pengguna dapat dengan mudah mencari, menelusur dan membaca karya ilmiah. Selain itu, juga memudahkan para kontributor untuk mengelola konten seperti mengunggah/edit/hapus karya ilmiah melalui laman kontributor. Hasil pengujian akhir aplikasi menunjukkan bahwa dari segi tampilan dan fitur sudah cukup baik, error (rate) hanya 11,1%.
Abstract
LIPI repository was built to muster scientific works produced by scientists, including papers published by their own institutions. While the problem of this research was how users could find and access papers efficiently and how contributors could upload their works by themselves. The goal of the research was to develop a prototype application. Mobile based LIPI scientific repository focused on three aspects, which are users need analysis, prototype application development and prototype application trial. Method and technology used in the research was using user experience (UX) aspects and APP Inventor software. The result of the research was successfully developed an interface application view so it will be easier for users to search, browse and find papers. On the other hand, it would be easier for contributors to manage the content, such as uploading/editing/erasing papers using contributors’ page. The final trial result showed that the application’s view and feature was good, with error (rate) of only 11.1%.
